I recently went to a taiban which happened to land on my birthday!
The event consisted of seven bands including two of my favorites: Hitchcock and Jigsaw. I was so excited to be able to see both bands together. I was seriously looking forward to this for ages. Now to hope that one day GazettE will have a live on my birthday 😂
To be honest, the older I get, the more I dislike taibans and prefer one-man or two-man events. I would just rather see who I want and then leave lol. While I usually don't enjoy most of the bands performing, this time I was pleasantly surprised! I actually enjoyed everyone's set.
Before the doors opened, I met up with my friends (Miya and Serena) who were also attending. Thanks to them I was able to switch tickets for a better number, which also got me a spot in the third row!!!
I had also pre-arranged spots in the venue with my friends for specific bands. First, I stood in the third row in shimote as I was waiting for Jigsaw, while they stood in the second row of kamite-center.
Human Error performed before Jigsaw. It was my first time seeing them and they definitely left an impression! They played a lot of fun songs and had nonstop moshing. During one song the kamite guitarist was eating a banana and then he went off the stage with a bag full of small bananas and he began handing them to people LMAO I've heard good things about Human Error, especially because another friend of mine is a fan of one of the members. If I ended up at another taiban with them I wouldn't be upset.
Once they finished, the girl in front of me noticed my Jigsaw flags and asked if I wanted to switch spots. I immediately said yes and thanked her! I already had a great view from my original spot but being able to switch to the second row was amazing. Plenty of space to do furi, and I could see everyone on stage with only saizen to watch.
It was also a Halloween themed live, so Jigsaw came out dressed as doctors! They all looked amazing and I was so blessed that night LMAOO
Afterwards was Garakuta and I've seen them once before so I knew I'd like them. Unfortunately by that time I was stuck at the back of the venue so I didn't move, but their setlist was so fun. If you're curious how I suddenly wasn't up front anymore, I left my spot after Jigsaw because a girl asked to watch Garakuta from there and I had no reason to return as I needed to switch to kamite for Hitchcock. Anyway, there were a ton of people in the audience that night and I could see how much fun they were having!
Finally, it was time for Hitchcock!!! I went over to meet with Miya and Serena to take one of their spots. Second row kamite for Yoi! I can't remember their setlist but I do remember them playing Akuma and Sakuranbyou. I had a fucking blaaaaaaaAaAaaAAAAAaasssSsttt!!!!!!!
I'm seriously so glad I became their fan a few months ago. Every show since then has been fucking great and I don't regret any part of it. Yoi wore a suit and I’ve always enjoyed the way he moves on stage. Sorry Karasu fans, I didn't look at him much. I had to focus on Yoi 😭
As soon as they finished I went to line up to buy 2shot tickets. I wanted to buy a few with written comments since it was my birthday. Yoi misspelled ‘’birthday” but it gave us a good laugh. He basically said to me afterwards, “well… you understand what it's meant to say right?” Lmao
Everything finished after that.
I was so happy!!!
Until next time 💪
